Wearable Book Lets Readers Feel Character Emotions Via Sensor – GalleyCat.
I think this is the most absurd pseudo-advancement I’ve ever read about, Renee.
I want to feel the emotions through my mind’s interpretation of the author’s words.
No, thank you, MIT.
Yes, that is a great way to look at it and I’m sure many people feel the same way. Technological “advances” never cease to amaze me though. However, they are not always good. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
This may be “exciting” in all genre accept murder mysteries, would it be promoting the sensation to do harm to those who don’t need the stimulation? Good find to relay to the public. Ann
Hmm…good point. I’m curious to know what the reader actually does feel when they’re reading this book. It’s not something I’d want to experience every time I read, especially not for a murder mystery type of book. I found the concept interesting, however I don’t think it’s a tool I would want to use as a reader. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I can think of a few books one had not better do this
