Insecure Writer’s Support Group Blog Hop

All of us are insecure about something at one point or another. Being insecure about your writing isn’t any different. In a world where tastes are subjective and rejection is lurking around every corner, a writer’s ego can be crushed.

But someone with a true passion for the craft never gives up. We keep fighting and developing our skills to become the best at what we do. It’s worth the effort. There’s nothing like the feeling of accomplishment you get when you edit a piece and see the improvement. There’s nothing like the weight that’s been lifted when you type the last word of a story that’s been rattling around in your mind and has taken over your every thought.

So put those insecurities aside and make friends with those of us who are sailing along in the same boat. The waters will no doubt be choppy at times, but think of how wonderful it will be when we reach our destination!
